After a little shopping trip the car on the picture brought us to a romantic place for a even more romantic dinner :-)))))
Have a wonderful day, we’re going to Sunken Meadows Statepark tomorrow.

Today we arrived in Hauppage, Long Island, where we’ll stay for 2 or 4 days. We have a list with apartments to take a look to, but today it was soooo hot again, that we spent the afternoon at or better in the pool :-))
Tomorrow we are driving around and probably we’ll play a round of golf tomorrow afternoon.
Have a wonderful day. Many greetings from Hauppage, New York State

Good evening Folks and Friends,
Today we followed the advice of the weather channel stay rather cool than outside (we had 99F today!!!) .. and so we went to Jersey’s Garden in Elizabeth. It was so convinient inside 🙂
After returning to the hotel we wachted the German soccer team on ESPN when they won vs. Poland :-))
Tomorrow we are heading towards Long Island, NY.
Stay tuned for the latest news from New York State then.
Have a wonderful working week!
Good night, take care!
Mona and Marco (Smartshoppers)
P.S. Poppi, Marco and I went the first time to Marshall’s (because you told us, Renate always goes there) .. very interesting shops for the one or other bargain!!!
I’m not sure about it, but what I saw today in front of the hotel came close to the DeLorean time machine they used in the Back to the Future trilogy. Was in rush, so no time to check for an installed flux capacitor 😉
We also bought a bottle of Bull Frog today 🙂 a new sunblocker which I saw on tv .. Marco didn’t use it … his back has a more reddish colour now :-))
Special add for Poppi: Wieder einmal hat sich die Sonne komischerweise nicht über Deinem Schwager geteilt ….
Folks and Friends,
we are back in New Jersey and we have to add another chapter to the list to damages … :-))) Today we went to a Golf shop and Marco tried one of the Driver .. unfortunately they must have been build a new wall beside him, just seconds before he swung the club … so the ball hit the wall and left a little hole in it .. the roughcast crumbled on the floor, but no one were injured :-))))
Tomorrow we’re heading to a statepark near Somerset for a BBQ and swimming.
Have a wonderful weekend, many greetings from Somerset, NJ
Mona and Marco Woods
Yesterday we slept pretty long and had a lazy day. After a bagle at Starbucks we took the JITNEY to the Outlet. We would strongly advise anybody NOT to take it if you dont wanna have a herniated vertebral disk (transl.: Bandscheibenvorfall) or die in a car accident.
Today we are leaving Atlantic City and going back to New Jersey to see some more communities. Our plans for the weekend are having barbecue in the State Park 🙂

Good morning from Atlantic City 🙂 Deal or no Deal was our favourite game last night, when we gambled a little bit.
Poppi, I need you here!!!! We have to play Roulette also!!!
Weather is not really good. Yesterday we had a Tornado watch for 4 hours (we spent it in the casino, because that’s the saftiest place :))))
A new item on Marco’s damage list:
– he dropped the hand towel into the toilet …. but he can’t help it …
Now we are going to grab a bite and a cup of coffee ..
Many greetings from Atlantic City,
Mona and Marco
P.S. Did I mention that we have ocean view from our room????
Today we spent partly with looking for apartments around Brunswick and Edison and later on we went to the Social Office to apply for our Social Security Number.
As we are already here for 2 days, I won’t miss to show Marco’s list of damages:
– printer paper jam in the hotel in Edison (Drucker Papierstau)
– almost spilled the red wine over his flight-pants (fast den Rotwein auf die Flughose geschüttet)
– forgot my bag in the fitting room (meine Tasche in der Umkleide vergessen, er sollte auf sie aufpassen …)
– went into the pool with the shows on .. (in den Pool gesprungen, hatte die Schuhe aber noch an).
as I mentioned .. we are here for 2 days …
Anyway, tomorrow we are heading towards the Ocean .. the weather is soo beautiful here!
Have a nice day and many greetings from East Brunswick, New Jersey
Mona and Marco
