Sorry for not updating the blog. We had some more good days in New York, and a smooth flight back on Oct. 16 to Frankfurt.

Some hours before our departure we decided to sign in for a wirless contract to have a a phone number in the U.S. with a voicemail.
Also having a contract which is paid on a monthly base is not a bad thing for building a credit history! Furthermore, Monas company gets a good discount at AT&T 🙂
Today Marco delivered his application for Stony Brok to the admission office and send the other application to CUNY processing office.
Hopefully it won’t take very long to get a response from them.

Today we watched the Columbus Day Parade and walked through New York with our friends Marco and Melanie who currently live in Queens. We also stopped at the ice rink at Rockefeller Center which opened yesterday.
For dinner we went to Smith&Wollensky’s where we had a biiiiig steak.
Tomorrow my meeting starts at 8 a.m. so it’s time to go to bed now … Have a wonderful Tuesday and stay tuned for the next reports.

P.S. Today Marco accidently opened the door to the closet instead to the restroom …. However, he finally hit the right room :-)))

we are arrived in New York. After a wonderful sunny day and a short walk to Times Square we had some beers at the hotel bar and I guess it’s time to go to bed now!

Good morning Folks,
We had a wonderful day today 🙂 First we went along the shore and through all the nice towns like Southhampton
and Amagansett to Montauk. Then we went to Sag Harbor and took the ferries to Shelter Island and Greenport.
After a short shop-stop at Riverhead Outlets we finished the day with a beer or two 🙂
Tomorrow we’re going to Riverhead again to be part of the Columbus Day Sale 🙂 and then we’re heading to New York.

Good morning, Folks and Friends,
finally we reached our destination for the next two days. We only had two minor accidents … the first happened to my colleague who crushed his finger in the car door and the other happened to … guess to whom ?? … Marco 🙂 He didn’t look back when we waited at the reception and stumbled over the luggage and felt down :-)))) Big noise — but nothing hurt.
Our flight track was somewhat unsual today. We flew up to Scotland before we crossed the Ocean and flew along Greenland and the entire Maine coast.
Tomorrow we’re heading to Montauk and the Hamptons. Stay tuned for the next report and have a wonderful weekend (we have Columbus Day Sale here, by the way … )

Hi folks,
Tomorrow we are starting our one week trip to New York City. Our departure is at 8:20 am with Singapore Airlines, Flight SQ 26 – track us with Flightview
After arrival at JFK, we will make at two day trip with two of Monas colleagues to Long Island and return to Manhattan on Sunday. Monday is Columbus Day Parade maybe we’ll have a look at it.
On Thursday Monas conference starts and I make my trip to Stony Brook to show them all the papers they need for admission decision.

From Sept. 5 to Sept. 7 we are going to London. Got a nice hotel via Priceline.
Finally I managed it to get all transcripts form the universities. Sent them directly to WES in New York City with UPS. In about 10 days evaluation of my credits should be ready 🙂
